Get ready to twist the night away at our 50's Theme Dance on Saturday to LIVE MUSIC by Daddy-O (see pic below) and DJ ShawneeMac!

The 50’s were too much fun with drive-in movies, drive-up diners, poodle skirts, greasers and hot rods! We’re going to take you back to a 50’s Sock Hop you’ll never forget!!! You might even be greeted by roller skating poodle girls, greasers! We’re gonna “Rock Around the Clock”, do “The Twist” and “Shake, Rattle and Roll” the night away.

Get ready to dust off your blue suede shoes, whip out your poodle skirt, roll up your dungarees, polish your saddle shoes, borrow big daddy's shirt, curl your ponytail, breakout those letterman sweaters, Mickey Mouse hats and hula hoops, grease back that hair cause this is going to be a blast!

Dress to impress, in your 50’s best!

Relive some memories as you show us your cool moves! Can you bop, stroll (line dance), jitterbug, hully gully, peperment twist, twist, mashed potato, the pony, swim? How about the hand jive?!

So, start the LONG WEEKEND with a Blast from the Past! We'll see you there and as always, our parties are

MONDAY

CD Practice Session in Cambridge, MA!

Come practice (mostly lindy) at the Monday Night "Practice Session" at the First Church of Cambridge, 11 Garden St., Cambridge, MA from 8:30 pm - 11:00 pm. Cost will be $5. Parking is on street. Very casual. No shoes with tape. Bring clean-soled shoes. For more information, email fiveguysnamedmike@itsallswing.com.

CD WCS in Northampton!

There is a dance in Northampton every Monday at Dance Northampton, located just off exit 18 on Rt. 91 (turn left off the exit, the studio is on the right just after the Shell station). There will be West Coast Swing and Country Western Two-Step lessons with both beginner and intermediate level classes:

7 pm - Two-Step: intermediate with William Duffy and beginner with Marilyn Woodman
8 pm - West Coast Swing: intermediate with Beth Duryea and William Duffy
9 pm - West Coast Swing Dance, with a little Two-step and Hustle thrown in.

Lessons are $8 each and in August the dance is FREE to all. Check the website at www.DanceNorthampton.com for the full schedule of classes and dances.

CD WCS in Stamford, CT!

Enjoy WCS lessons and a dance at The Palms in Stamford, CT. There will be a beginner lesson at 7:00 pm and an intermediate lesson at 8:00 pm, followed by an open dance until 11:00 pm. CD Dance in Arlington, MA!

There is west coast swing dancing every Tuesday in Arlington.This Tuesday Robert Cordoba will be teaching the 7:00 pm class. Joe, Yuna & Kathy will be teaching the 8:15 pm class. Yuna & Jon will be teaching the beginner series upstairs starting at 7:00 pm. Read about it here.

There will be a west coast swing lesson and dance every Tuesday at the Circle of Life dance studio and hall at 50 Chapman Place in East Hartford, Connecticut. The schedule each week will be as follows:

CD Dance at Vinnie's in Middletown , CT !

Vinnie’s Jump & Jive holds hold an open swing dance every Tuesday from 8-11pm. This relaxed event is a wonderful time to get out and dance midweek. The fabulous Hot Cat Jazz Band plays each first, third, and 5th (if there is one) Tuesday. The dances are all ages and are included in the price of a class if you are taking a class series.

CD Weekly Dance in Northampton!

Every Wednesday in the great town of Northampton, Massachusetts, there is dancing fun for everyone. Lessons at 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm and dancing at 8:30 pm at the Northampton Center for the Arts at 17 New South Street in Northampton, MA. In the heart of Western Massachusetts, we're an easy drive from Amherst, Hadley, South Hadley, Sunderland, Greenfield, Springfield, Westfield, Easthampton, Holyoke, the Berkshires, Southern Vermont, and Northern Connecticut.
