Thanks for checking out our website! We are the Swingin' 88's, a group of people that met almost 12 years ago while having fun dancing. This group formed for a common purpose: to keep "Swing" alive in southern New England and to have fun! It started with 8 members and now has 25+ members and hundreds of friends.

Celebrating 12+ Years in the Dance Community

May marked 12 years for us hosting dances and being in the dance community! Thanks to all of you who have supported us for so many years. We could not do it without you and we appreciate it! Here's to another 12 years!

Showing Strong Support for the Community ...

We host a monthly dance at the Brightridge Club in East Providence, RI usually on the last Saturday of the month. Please see our schedule of dances for the year. We also host fundraisers for local community groups. In the past 12 years, we have raised $41,714 for a variety of groups. Please visit us often for the latest news in "Swing" and list of dancing events!

"I brought a female friend to your dance last night, Sat 7/26th, for her 1st time at your dances. She was a little reluctant because she didn't know the crowd. She had a great time thanks to the friendly leaders. Quite a few men took the time to ask her to dance even though they didn't know her. She was impressed with how friendly everyone was. Not all venues have the reputation for being a 'friendly' dance but the Swingin' 88's now have that reputation with her. GREAT JOB, LEADERS!"
